Across the Great (Disciplinary) Divide: Tips on Science Communication

Conducting research is hard enough. Translating those findings for researchers outside your discipline and for the public is another challenge altogether.

Andrew Binder, an NC State assistant professor in communication, specializes in science communication and how citizens perceive scientific  issues. Binder recently attended the Kavli Frontiers of Science symposium that gathers forward-thinking scholars to share ideas. In a guest post on NC State's research blog, The Abstract, Binder shares a few suggestions for researchers from all backgrounds.
