People are not consistent in how they prepare mentally to deal with arguments and other stressors, according to a pilot study led by Associate Professor of Psychology Shevaun Neupert. In fact, people used different coping behaviors to prepare for different stressors, and those coping behaviors changed from day to day.

Researchers from North Carolina State University have found that playing WoW actually boosted cognitive functioning for older adults – particularly those adults who had scored poorly on cognitive ability tests before playing the game.
