Retired Faculty Honored at Brunch

John Riddle, professor emeritus of history, talks with Jerrell Coggburn, professor and chair of the Department of Public Administration in the School of Public and International Affairs.

Retired Humanities and Social Sciences faculty reconnected and reminisced on May 20 at a brunch honoring their service to the college.

The event, held in Talley Student Union, allowed professors representing the college’s many departments and programs to engage with one another and current department heads and staff over brunch. Dean Jeff Braden also updated attendees on the latest college news and thanked donors who continue to support the college’s efforts.

Gifts from retired faculty help ensure funding for study abroad, student and faculty research, tuition scholarships and other college and department-level programs. To see how their gifts make a difference, visit our giving page.
