NC State Professor of English Walt Wolfram was in New York recently to discuss “Talking Black in America” on the Build Series. The documentary produced by Wolfram and NC State’s Language and Life Project explores the story and impact of African American speech in our culture. The Build Series is a live-streamed Q&A program designed to “connect the most compelling, interesting and influential creators in the world with their fans and audiences featuring the biggest names in entertainment, tech, fashion and business as they share the stories behind their projects and passions.”
