I am a professional voice actor, and I’m actually the voice of NC State’s ad campaign — “NC State. Think and Do.” Yep, that’s my voice. I have given a voice to Nike, McDonald’s, IBM, Klondike, ESPN, NBC, HGTV and CNBC, just to name a few companies. I first learned about this career in 2004, from a former professor in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Vance Elderkin. I started doing voice-over in my Avent Ferry dorm bathroom, and haven’t looked back since. I have been doing it full-time for almost eight years.
