My NC State Story: Chandler Carriker (History ‘01)

After I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history, I went on to a career in ministry. I’ve taught undergraduates, run a program for high school students at a Lutheran seminary and worked to inspire others to support the work of global poverty alleviation.

Now I work at a camp and outdoor ministry site in western North Carolina. All along the way, the skills I acquired at NC State in research, problem solving and understanding context have been invaluable.
