My NC State Story: Angela Burruss (Communication ‘98)

The education I received from NC State has worked in tandem with another degree I earned from Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Both degrees have afforded me the opportunity to work in the field of marketing and mass communications for the past 20 years. NC State sealed my chosen career path because I learned theoretical and hands-on applications that helped me succeed in the positions I held in the public and private sectors.

With that work experience, I launched my own communications company. Web Feet Communications — located in Prince George’s County, Maryland — caters to small businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals with limited human resources to effectively communicate with their audience.
