Simone Tucker is a freshman majoring in International Studies and Arabic. Recently elected Humanities and Social Sciences Student Senator for 2017-18, she is a member of the Mock Trial Team and multiple language clubs, resides in the Impact Leadership Village, and looks forward to a career in government or nonprofits.

Edwin Maldonado, a junior in Social Work, successfully combines academics and athletics as a Dean's List student on NC State's championship-winning cheerleading team. With a passion for helping others, he looks forward to obtaining a Master's in Social Work, and working with disabled populations.

An internship at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in Alexandria, Virginia, gave Doha Hindi real-world experience in a high-powered environment. The Science, Technology and Society major came away with new insights about end-of-life care, about her career options, and about her self.

Alexandra Goodfred is a senior with anthropology and English majors, and a French minor. She interns with a Raleigh book publisher, is Anthropology Club president, and is in the Scholars Program. She has studied abroad in Thailand and the U.K., and looks forward to a career in publishing.

Sydney Wingate, a senior communication major, is active on campus as a University Ambassador, college ambassador, and vice president of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She has held internships with NC State Athletics and the Greensboro Swarm, and she aspires to work in the athletic industry following a graduate program in communication.
