All are welcome for Men in Social Work's end-of-year celebration on Monday, April 24, from 5-6pm in Winston Hall, Room 29. Male LCSWs from the NC State Counseling Center will join us to discuss masculinity, working with men, men's issues and job seeking tips. These are incredible clinicians, including the addictions coordinator at the center.
This club is not for men only and we always have those who do not identify as males at our meetings. Males make up less than 20% of professional social workers.
We are here to support males in the field and to educate us all on ways to work with men. The discussion will enlighten us on how to better serve men in the field, work with them and otherwise associate with them.
We will have dinner there, by the way.
Feel free to contact Frank Alford for more information (firstname.lastname@example.org).
